What We’re Asking For
We’re asking the EPA to test the old Allied Chemical site for radiation — and clean up whatever they find.
The petition, in plain words
We live and raise our families near the old Allied Chemical site — now called Honeywell / Delaware Valley Works.
The government says this site is safe. But they decided that without ever testing the ground. No one has ever checked for the radioactive waste left from making uranium here in the 1950s and 60s. Calling it “safe” without ever looking is how the government treats families it thinks are insignificant.
We don’t accept “safe” without proof. Our health and our children’s health matter.
Why now
The chemical cleanup did not remove the contamination. Most of it was sealed under caps and left in place. New building projects are planned near the site. Before more families put down roots here, we deserve to know the full truth about the ground.

Does signing really matter?
Yes. Agencies count. When neighbors pushed in 2024 and 2025, the EPA changed its official record. For the first time, it now includes this site’s uranium history. Names on paper did that. Testing is the next step — and it will take more names.
